Description
Pumpkin Seed Oil contains essential fatty acids; Omega-6 Linoleic acid: 52% and Omega-9 Oleic acid: 29%. Essential fatty acids are oils that are essential for health but which cannot be manufactured by the human body. Melrose Organic Pumpkin Seed Oil also contains antioxidant vitamins A & E, which protect cells from free radical damage and aids the body to grow, maintain and heal. Styrian Pumpkins are unique to Austria and especially grown for the oil from their seeds. Styrian pumpkin seed oil is dark green and has a tantalising taste.

- It does not contain cholesterol, and is also free from lactose, dairy, sugar, salt, wheat, gluten, yeast, artificial flavours, colours or preservative – GM free.
- Organic pumpkin seed oil is perfect for sweet and savoury dishes, but it’s not recommended for frying or grilling. Exposure to high temperatures can destroy the essential fatty acids. Also, high smoke points affect the rich flavour and tone of the oil.
